The
Kegelmaster™ is a progressive resistance pelvic floor exerciser
designed to perfect pelvic floor exercises, otherwise known as Kegel
exercises. Kegel exercises are ineffective without resistance. Regular
use of the Kegelmaster™ significantly increases muscular strength
in the pelvic floor. This innovative device helps women to strengthen
their pelvic floor muscles like no other cheap imitation can.
The pelvic floor muscles form a hammock or sling underneath the all
the pelvic organs and are responsible for:
- Controlling the flow of urine
- Supporting the bladder, uterus and rectum
- Contracting during sexual orgasm
The Kegelmaster™ relies on the basic principle of progressive
resistance exercise which is essential in reconditioning weakened pelvic
floor muscles. Progressive resistance exercise is proven to be
the most effective way to build muscle and is the type of exercise
most commonly taught in medical and rehabilitation facilities, health
clubs and sport gyms.
The Kegelmaster™ is a compact unit about 7” in length
and 1” in diameter. It consists of two arms joined by a
hinge at one end. The first 4” of the unit nearest the
hinge consists of a barrel which contains four posts onto which you
place one or more of the surgical grade stainless steel springs provided,
in differing combinations. This is what creates the 15 different
levels of resistance which makes the Kegelmaster™ so powerful,
effective and truly unique. The spring combinations for levels
1 to 15 are shown in the chart below.
The remaining 3” of the device is gently inserted into the vaginal
opening to strengthen tone and tighten all the pelvic floor muscles
during an exercise session that takes about 5 to 6 minutes a day. Never
insert the Kegelmaster™ further than is comfortable for you. By
adjusting a knob that remains outside the body on the top of the spring
barrel you allow the spring/s inside the barrel to push the arms of
the unit apart to open it to the degree you feel comfortable with to
provide resistance for you to work your pelvic floor muscles against.

The spring tension creates gentle resistance on the muscle much in
the same way as choosing the proper amount of weight on any exercise
machine would.

no batteries, electricity or maintenance.
The Kegelmaster™ provides a state-of-the-art foolproof way to
build the pelvic floor muscles beyond belief, alleviating and preventing
poor bladder control, mild prolapse and a whole host of other pelvic
floor dysfunctions while greatly increasing sexual pleasure and satisfaction
for both partners.
The Kegelmaster™ is a truly innovative device. You control
how far you insert the Kegelmaster™ and how far you allow the
Kegelmaster™ to open. Using the pelvic floor muscles only, squeeze
against the Kegelmaster™'s adjustable resistance. Developing
a routine with the Kegelmaster™ is easy because:

You may think of the Kegelmaster™ in the same way as any piece
of exercise equipment you may find at your local gym.
It
works best with a full extension (opening) of the vaginal muscles with
a full contraction (closure) for maximum development of the pelvic
floor muscles.
With each squeeze you attempt complete closure of the Kegelmaster™. Each
day do three sets of 30 repetitions of contracting and releasing according
to the instructions given, pausing for 30 seconds in between each set. When
you achieve good movement in the unit easily, this is the time to move
to the next setting.
This should take you no more than 5-6 minutes a day. What could
be more deserving of your time than taking great care of yourself? You’re
worth it!
You can gauge as you move through the settings just how strong your
pelvic floor muscles are becoming by following the power spring combination
chart. The level of resistance ranges from 1.22lbs at the lowest
setting to 7.8lbs at the highest. It is by no means necessary
to get to the higher levels to achieve fantastic results with the Kegelmaster™.
With the Kegelmaster™ you are in control of your body and you
simply work up to a level you feel comfortable with and then maintain
that level by exercising maybe once or twice a week. Do not try to
use too high a setting at first. The idea is to get as much movement
from the unit as possible. With regular use you will astound yourself
with your progress!
